Quirky Cordlets leave me hanging...

So I bought these at OfficeMax cause they looked cool.  They all ended up falling off the glue pad that it comes with.  I tried re-sticking them but they kept falling.  In the span of 24 hours 3 of the pads managed to fail.

Mythical animals might save your day.

I got a chuckle out of this one last night while working on a client's product. I find this hilarious in 2 ways.  The first thing to note is ways in which humans cope with failure, by deflecting the feeling in a number of ways.  The second is the method which I chose to use.

What started out as a 4-legged product turned into a cute dino.

Sketching is fun, at times it can take a lot of concentration to pry one's mind off of reality and be able to fluently express one's ideas on paper.  At times one can become tunnel-minded with the drawing at hand, which can lead to some grotesque drawings or drawings which are simply not drawn right, yet are finished.  Such finished drawings are frowned upon.. as an artist one must be able to realize when the drawing goes from being 'Work in Progress' to complete and utter "Garbage".  The line is fine, is not set in stone and if you are using pencil, this line is flexible.

8 Observations about No-Shave November

I'm putting too much effort into this not to make a post about it.  And the truth of the matter is that at this point this is more a personal challenge than anything else.  I have made it through No Fap February so I should have no problem with No Shave November right?

I want to admit to the fact that I started a week early on October 20th, so I had a head start.  Oh well not single fuck is given.  Anywho, it's the 15th so without further ado here's a pictorial update.

So here it is, the Botmill chip they were giving away a few weeks ago.  The accompanying letter states it was printed on the fastest settings.

Factory Tour of Churchill Corporation

TIME TO LEARN!!!  Videos and pictures from a factory visitation I made in 2009 to Churchill Corp in Boston, MA.  Aside from the KIA RONDO they gave me, it was a pretty fun trip.  It was cold as hell and the touchscreen on my smartphone did not work when i had 2 pairs of gloves on....

I uploaded them a long time ago to a dedicated Youtube channel and pretty much forgot about them until the other day when I was reviewing my Goog portfolio.  As expected, the videos do a lot of explaining and you will also hear the Lead Engineer explaining certain things about the processes.  On this blog post I will point out the not so obvious things.

Let's start out with the Glorious Finn-Power 3 Ton CNC Press executing a routine for an aircraft equipment tray.  Here it is running at 100%.
